We’ve been insanely busy lately. The entire team is in constant creative motion working on fabulous projects for clients new and old. We’re also cooking up some pretty exciting company changes. We can’t wait to share all of our latest work with you in the coming months.
In the meantime, we continue to spend a significant portion of each day searching high and low for new products, fresh ideas, and the best applications of emerging trends (spoiler alert: embroidery is back). As part of that process, we regularly meet with sales representatives from various furniture, fabric, rug and accessory companies.
These meetings may sound fun, but as designers, some days it seems like we’ve seen it all before. Other days we are like kids in a candy store taking in all the delicious opportunities to sweeten up a design project.
Yesterday we met with our Kravet rep, Rich. There is little that helps keep the design momentum moving more than sample after sample of gorgeous fabric. Our meeting with Rich was like an inspiration intervention. In fact, it was such a good meeting that we placed several orders right on the spot.

We were singing the blues (and grays), in a good way, for most of the meeting. Did you know that sales representatives usually present their products in a similar color palette to help the eye transition between samples?
