The Whittingtons opened some of their Christmas gifts early. The big changes here were a new side board from Bobo Intriguing Objects, new artwork from Left Bank, a new Masland rug and a fabulous new Roost light fixture. There is also a new mid-century sconce from West Elm and a new sideboard lamp from Mr. Brown.
We love the texture in this Roost fixture.
Meanwhile, over in the breakfast area:

We ripped out the banquettes and added cabinetry. The walls are covered with a gorgeous, textured cork by Anna French for Thibaut. Both cabinets were painted a deep, glossy blue and dressed up with new brass hardware.

We also added study space for the kids and a new table and chairs.
Cocktail space for the holidays, study space when school starts again!

Thibaut wallpaper, a new light fixture from Visual Comfort and an All-Modern mirror add texture and modern glam above a new Caesarstone countertop, burnished faucet and freshly painted cabinetry.
