Thanksgiving Table Ideas!

by Melanie, November 22, 2010
We can’t believe Thanksgiving is this week! Yikes!! It’s a good thing you have us to show you how to create a beautiful Thanksgiving table setting to impress all your guests! You don’t need anything fancy, just what you have along with some fall-inspired elements from the great outdoors! Here are some of our favorite dining room looks that can you can easily achieve in your own home.

Look #1 – Yellow Flowers
Easy, right? By adding an arrangement of yellow flowers to your dining table, you can instantly create a perfect fall table setting.

Want more than flowers? Take look #1 and mix it up a little by adding small books and candles.

If yellow just isn’t your color, you can always try orange or peach. The roses on this table are a perfect compliment to the orange drapery.

Look #2 – The Natural Element
I don’t think we will ever get tired of this look! It’s so easy to achieve and it falls in perfectly with the idea of the Thanksgiving harvest. Try wild flowers like these if your home has a rustic theme already.

We like the bare branches off-centered on the table in this image. It creates a nice complement to the flowers in the center of the table.

For a more casual and relaxed table center piece, try a bowl of artichokes.

An artichoke on each plate is an interesting look and it couldn’t be easier to achieve! We like the white pumpkins and moss in the center urns too.

Look #3 – Pumpkins!
Still have pumpkins from Halloween? If they’re not carved, then incorporate them into your table setting. Try a centerpiece of small orange and white pumpkins or just scatter a few small pumpkins throughout the table.

If you already have a cornucopia, you can fill it with pumpkins, gourds and corn to create the traditional look of Thanksgiving. We like how the silver tray adds adds a small hint of shimmer to this natural arrangement.
